Team India will aim to stop Bangladesh from inflicting a 3-0 whitewash on them when they take them on the 3rd ODI on Chattogram. India will miss the services of their captain Rohit Sharma who has injured his thumb. Rohit wanted to make a catch in the 2nd ODI, but the ball hit his right thumb and missed most of the match. He came to bat after losing the 7th wicket in the 272 run chase. He hit a fast fifty to almost win the game for India, but the Men In Blue still fell short by 5 points. Bangladesh eventually won the series 2-0.

Not to forget, Bangladesh has never wiped Team India clean. So this is a golden opportunity for the Tigers to pull off a 3-0 clean sweep. Mehidy Hasan Miraz has been the standout player for Bangladesh. He hit an unbeaten 38 in the first ODI to take Bangladesh past the winning run and he followed it up with a brilliant century in the second ODI. India will be his in the third ODI.
We fought hard till the end but it was Bangladesh who won the 2nd ODI by 5 runs and took the series 2-0.

KL Rahul will be the captain of Team India in Rohit’s absence. He has previously led India in South Africa. But he failed to win a single match there. All eyes will also be on Virat Kohli. He hasn’t had a great time in Bangladesh and would be itching to prove a few points with the bat as India aim to finish the series on a high and bring momentum into the Test series, which ends at 14 December at the same location.
