Protests break out in Jamia Millia Islamia over the likely showing of the BBC documentary on Prime Minister Modi. The Jamia Unit of the SFI issued a poster stating that the documentary will be screened at 6pm at MCRC Lawn Gate No. 8. When contacted, a Jamia official said: “They have not requested permission for the screening and we will do the screening.If students go out of their way to do anything, strict measures will be taken against them.Delhi police said on Wednesday that four students have been detained for allegedly causing a commotion outside the Jamia Milia Islamia University during the screening of the BBC documentary on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
