Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla opened the two-day agricultural festival ‘Krishi Mahotsav’ in Kota, Rajasthan on January 25. It is organized by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India in conjunction with Department of Agriculture, Government of Rajasthan. Farmers can interact directly with more than 75 agricultural startups, progressive farmers and agricultural product manufacturers through the exhibition hosted at Krishi Mahotsav. The exhibition also provides information about new innovations and technology. Speaking to the media, Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla said, “Farmers need to practice modern farming in addition to traditional farming to increase their income.”
