The rescue operation is underway to save people trapped under the rubble on Wazir Hasanganj Road in Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh where a residential building collapsed. So far 13 people have been rescued. Lucknow Divisional Commissioner Rohan Jacob said: “13 people have been rescued and no casualty has been reported so far. 2-3 people are still trapped under the rubble.” Nawazish Manzoor, son of former UP minister and SP leader Shahid Manzoor, has been taken into custody by the Uttar Pradesh police. The apartment’s land deed was registered to Shahid’s son Nawazish and cousin Tariq.
