Manjot Singh has been selected to join the prestigious OTA (Officers Training Academy) in Chennai through a special NCC application scheme. He is a son of deputy director Livestock. He is a native of Singhpora area of ​​Baramulla district and completed his education at St. Joseph School of Baramulla. Since childhood, he was engaged in sports activities. He completed his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Christ University, Bengaluru. Since childhood, Manjot Singh dreamed of joining the Indian army and serving the nation. Therefore, he applied for the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and was also selected in the NCC’s special admissions schedule. His parents are proud of him for his achievement. Manjot Singh had also appealed to the Kashmiri youth to come forward and serve the nation. Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai is one of the major pre-commission training institutes of the Indian Army. It is designed to employ approximately 750 Short Service Commissioned Army officers each year. This elite academy provides high-quality military training to selected and capable youth of the country and sculpts these boys and girls into future military commanders.
