The Supreme Court on Friday overturned the Kerala High Court order granting early bail to four people, including a former Director General of Police (DGP), in a case alleging involvement of scientist Nambi Narayanan in the ISRO espionage case of 1994. A bench of Justices MR Shah and CT Ravikumar referred the case back to the Supreme Court and ordered it to decide the matter within four weeks. “All of these appeals are allowed. Disputed anticipatory bail orders issued by HC are overturned and set aside. All cases are referred back to HC to be decided again on its own merits. This court had no right for either party something fundamentally observed. .
