A Pakistani national who had entered India illegally was repatriated through the Attari-Wagah border on November 22 after serving his 10-year prison sentence. The development has been confirmed by Protocol Officer Arunpal. Speaking to ANI, Protocol Officer Arunpal said that the Pakistani national who has been released from prison after the expiration of the sentence is Kala Massi. Arunpal said Kala Massi belonged to the Narowal region of Pakistan. He said Kala Massi entered India in 2011 through the Ramdass area without a passport and visa. He further stated that he was apprehended in Majitha and that a gun and cartridge were recovered from him. According to Arunpal, the court had sentenced him to 10 years in prison and fined him Rs 2,10,000.
