Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday again praised India’s foreign policy, calling it free and independent. While Khan praised India’s foreign policy, he praised his decision to buy oil from Russia under pressure from the West. “I have to take the example of India. The country became free with us and now look at its foreign policy. It pursues a free and independent foreign policy. India stood by its decision and said they will buy oil from Russia,” Khan said while virtually addressing his “long march” on Saturday. Imran Khan praised the Modi government’s purchase of Russian oil in line with its national interests and added that while India and the United States were QUAD allies, it still decided to buy oil from Russia for the benefit of its citizens.
