Politics in Bihar intensified ahead of the two-day visit by Interior Minister Amit Shah, which begins on September 23. Earlier, while commenting on Amit Shah’s visit, RJD chief Lalu Yadav said the BJP will try to divide people by creating polarization to earn political dividends. BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad replied that the interior minister does not need to take directives from ‘Mahagathbandhan’ to visit Bihar. “I have heard that Lalu Ji (RJD Chief), Nitish Ji (Bihar CM) and Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Ji are sad that Union Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah is coming to Bihar. Should the interior minister now adopt a directive from them to go to Bihar?” he added.
