Home Minister and Union Cooperation Minister Amit Shah met with Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and his deputy Devendra Fadnavis at the Ministry of Home Affairs in the national capital on January 24. Speaking to the media after the meeting, Eknath Shinde thanked Cooperation Minister Amit Shah. “On behalf of Maharashtra, I would like to thank the Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah. He has taken the sugar industry very seriously. There needs to be margin money, working capital, loan restructuring and strengthening of primary farming societies,” he said.
