Bharatiya Janata Party spokesman Shehzad Poonawalla lashed out at the Congress party saying that the Congress is not ‘Mohabbat ki Dukan’ but ‘Intolerant ki Dukan’ due to Anil Antony’s resignation from the Congress after he left the Bharatiya Janata Party in the controversial BBC documentary on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Anil Antony, a young political activist from Kerala has to leave the Congress Party for putting national interest above party and family interests. The way he was treated and insulted shows that Congress is still in a state of emergency. This is not ‘Mohabbat ki Dukan’ but ‘Intolerant ki Dukan’,” said Shehzad Poonawalla. Former Kerala Chief Minister and Congress leader AK Antony’s son Anil Antony resigned from the Congress party on January 25 citing “intolerance calls to retract tweet” regarding a BBC documentary on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
