BJP leader and union minister Rajeev Chandrashekhar reacted to the resignation of Anil Antony, son of congress leader and former union minister AK Antony, from the congress party. He said, ‘It is very sad that an idealistic Indian is being expelled from India’s oldest party for saying an irrefutable truth. What he said yesterday made perfect sense.’ Anil K Antony, son of former Union minister AK Antony, left Congress on Wednesday over “intolerance calls to retract a tweet” in the BBC documentary on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Anil shared his letter of resignation on Twitter, writing, “I have resigned from my roles in Congress – as the organizer of KPCC Digital Media and as the National Coordinator of the AICC Social Media and Digital Communications Cell.”
