New Delhi:

Aamir Khan, during a recent media interaction, opened up about his upcoming project – a film called Master which he produces. The actor stated during the session that he was going to star in the film. But now he only has to produce the film. The actor added that he wants to take a break from acting for a while, news agency ANI stated. “When I make a film as an actor, I get so lost that nothing else happens in my life. I had to make a film after Laal Singh Chadha called Master. It’s a wonderful script, a beautiful story, and it’s a very heartwarming and lovely film. But I feel I want to take a break, be with my family, with my mother, my children,” the actor said, ANI quoted.

The actor revealed that this is the first time he is taking a break from acting in his 35-year career. He added: “I feel I’ve worked for 35 years and I’ve been single-mindedly focused on my work. I feel it’s not fair to people who are close to me. It’s the time I feel that I have to take some time off to be with them and actually experience life in a different way. I’m looking forward to the next year, year and a half, when I’m not working as an actor.”

Aamir Khan’s last release Laal Singh Chadha, became the target of the Twitter boycott trend. The boycott trend against the film began after a section of the internet unearthed Aamir Khan’s 2015 interviews in which he said his ex-filmmaker wife Kiran Rao had suggested they move countries due to “growing intolerance”. The film had an overwhelming box office collection.

Meanwhile, the actor surprised his fans with a cameo appearance in Revathy’s Hello Venky trailer starring Kajol.
