SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘RRR’ reached the official 95th Academy Awards nominations on Tuesday.

RRR song ‘Naatu Naatu’ has officially entered the Oscar race in the ‘Best Original Song’ category.

Several Bollywood celebrities took to their social media and congratulated Team ‘RRR’ to create history.

Actor Arjun Kapoor wrote: “And their dance revolution continues to spread like wildfire across the globe. Best Original Song nomination at #Oscars2023. Can it get bigger than this.”


Filmmaker Farhan Akhtar wrote, “Super excited to watch it ‘Naatu Naatu’ the best original song and ‘Everything that breathes’ – the best documentary has reached the Oscar final. Good luck.”


South actor Chiranjeevi tweeted, “A STEP AWAY FROM THE AGE OF CINEMATIC GLORY!!! Heartiest congratulations on Best Original Song Oscar nomination @mmkeeravaani garu & the visionary @ssrajamouli & the entire team behind #NaatuNaatu & @RRRMovie.”

Naatu Naatu’ singer Rahul Sipligunj wrote: “Aaaaaaaaaatttttttttt maaaakkkiiiiii #naatunaatu nominated for Oscar congrats to team @RRRMovie Thank you @mmkeeravaani sir.”

Parineeti Chopra wrote, “Congratulations to our amazing Oscar nominated team #NaatuNaatu and Guneet Monga. What an incredible, amazing performance.”


After a big winning streak at the Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards, the film has officially entered the race for the Oscars.

earlier, ‘Naatu Naatu’ won the Golden Globes for the ‘Best Original Song’ category.

The song also won the Critics Choice Award in the same category. The film also won the ‘Best Foreign Language Film’ award at the Critics Choice Award.

Except ‘RRR’, the Indian documentary ‘Everything that breathes’ and the short documentary film ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ also won Oscar 2023 nominations in the ‘Documentary’ and ‘Documentary Short’ categories.
