The promise of blockbuster crores brought in by Pathan, which releases on January 25, has revived 25 single-screen theaters across the country. Tuesday evening, half a day before the opening of his film, Pathan star Shah Rukh Khan shared the list of these 25 theaters that are reopening. “Bachpan mein saare filmin single screens par hi dekhi hain. Uska apna hi maza hai. Duas, prarthna aur prayers karta hoon… aap sabko aur mujhe kaamyaabi mile (Growing up I only watched movies on single screens. It is uniquely entertaining. I pray that you and I both have success). Congrats on your reopenings,” tweeted SRK.
Shah Rukh Khan’s post contains a list of cinemas located in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand and Goa.

Pathanwhich releases in over 100 countries, has sold over 5 lakh tickets in pre-orders for the opening day – only Baahubali: The Conclusion have sold more.
Yesterday, trade analyst Taran Adarsh announced that “as many as 25 single screen cinemas across India – which were closed – will reopen with Pathan this week, given the unprecedented buzz.

Pathan may or may not be able to sustain the momentum of its first day ticket sales; however, experts are optimistic about its chances at the box office, predicting that it will end the drought of profit margins that Bollywood films faced throughout last year.
Pathan, directed by Siddharth Anand, stars Shah Rukh Khan in the title role – a covert ops agent brought from the desert to tackle a terrorist threat. As PathanSRK teams up with Deepika Padukone’s character against terrorist leader Jim, played by John Abraham.
