Actors Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn have spent today exchanging compliments. In an ‘Ask SRK’ session on Twitter, the superstar was asked to comment on what Ajay said about the soaring advance bookings for SRK’s films Pathan, opens tomorrow. He did so and received a similarly warm response from Ajay Devgn. Here’s how it went down. A fan added a clip of Ajay saying that he was “dil see khush (happy from the bottom of his heart) due to the “fantastic” pre-booking numbers reported for Pathan. In his tweet, the fan asked, “Sir Ajay Devgn is very happy with the pre-booking of Pathan. Any word on him?”

Nothing if not gracious, Shah Rukh Khan had more words to say. “Ajay has been a pillar of support and love for me and my family for years. He is a wonderful actor and beautiful human being. Strong and silent.”

Soon after, Ajay Devgn replied to Shah Rukh Khan and said this: “Dear SRK, thank you for your love and presence. I appreciate the bond we share as much as you do. Pathan collections seem to go through the roof. I’m glad things are looking up for us as an industry.”
